Liberian Journalist, James T. Lloyd Finally Laid To Rest

The late James T. Lloyd, Sr.

James T. Lloyd, Sr., Publisher of the Evidence Newspaper who died on October 15, 2019 following a protracted illness was today, November 2, 2019 buried in his home town, Marshall City, Margibi County with score of friends, journalists, relatives and well-wishers in full attendance at his funeral.

The funeral which was held at the First United Methodist Church in Marshall City was graced also with eight clergy men and women from the host church and other churches in the area.

The eulogy at the funeral was preached by one of the clergies, Pastor Siafiah G. K. Passawe of the New Jerusalem Church of Christ who urged the gathering at the funeral to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, and further called on the bereaved families to follow the good example of the late James T. Lloyd, Sr., who he said lived for Christ.

A tribute on behalf of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) was paid by the Union former President, George Kermue Barpeen, and further called on the bereaved families to keep solace.
