The I-Help Liberia Project, a US based Liberian NGO which has over the years provided scientific educational training for Liberian school teachers and students says it is prepared to collaborate with the former President of the Nimba Community College, Dr. Yah Gonway-Gono in her bid to construct a modern health center in the County.
The founder of the US based NGO, Mr. Asumana Jabateh Randolph who has been on the frontline in helping to professionally boost the Liberian educational system by bringing into the country U.S. scholars, speaking to the GNN recently said his organization is ready to assist in the upgrading of the health sector of the Country.
Responding to a Face Book post of the effort of Dr. Gono, expressed thanks to the Liberian educator, stressing said, “We are looking your way”, meaning his organization, the I-Help Liberia Project is prepared to collaborate with Dr. Gono.
During a recent visit by a team of young Liberian medical doctors led by the Country Director of I-Help Liberia Project, Mr. Abraham Jabateh on the grounds of the proposed Clinic which is nearing completion, the Founder of the facility, Dr. Gono praised Mr. Asumana Jabateh Randolph for being helpful in the fulfillment of her dream to build a medical center for her people in the County.
Speaking further to the GNN, Dr. Gono said she is excited for the level of support being received from the I-Help Liberia Project, especially Mr. Randolph who she said is her ‘Motivator’, noting, “God first, Mr. Randolph second, he has been to my rescue, especially the construction of this building,” Dr. Gono beeping with smile said.
Touring the facilities on the grounds of the proposed clinic, the head of the delegation and representative of I-Help Liberia Project, Abraham Jabateh tanked Dr. Gono for her farsightedness in bringing relief to the people of Nimba County, particularly in the healthcare sector, and further urged her to continue her good work in the interest of her people.
The Three young I-Help Liberia Project scholars who just graduated from the University of Liberia medical college and traveled to Nimba to see the project included Dr. Gassinu Kaba, Dr. Mohammed B. Dukuly and Dr. Luke Babby who accompanied the team to the site also expressed excitement of the project , and the humanitarian gesture of Mr. Randolph who through his support made them to obtained their medical credentials from the University of Liberia.
