The former Chairman of the Taskforce that prosecuted those indicted by the Global Witness in the Stable Mining Bribery case, Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa has sharply reacted to Cllr. Varney Sharman’s allegation that he (Sherman) was Wrongfully and illegally indicted’ when he took the witness stand on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Criminal Court ‘C’, Temple of Justice.
A release issued by the press office of Cllr. Koffa who is also Representative of District # 2 in Grand Kru County said he will be prepared to address himself to Cllr. Sherman’s insinuation who is also a member of the Senate from Grand Cape Mount County to explain in detail of what gave reasons for the indictment.
The release said, “In the wake of personal allegations made against him by Varney Sherman in the Sable Mining bribery case, Hon. Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa will set the record straight in a live news conference onThursday, July 4, 2019 at the precise hour of 11:00 am from his Capitol Hill Office,” the released added
