In Pleebo City: Three Men Arrested For Hijacked And Robbery

The Pleebo Magisterial Court in Maryland County has charged three men with ‘Hijacked and Robbery’ for their alleged involvement in stealing from one Samo Ali a cell phone value US$175,00.

According to our Correspondent, the three men include: Abel Mamed; 24, James Wleh; 20 and Daniel Chea (Not former Defense Minister); 22The three include Abel Mamed, 24, James Wleh 20, and Daniel Chea, 22, have all been charged.

The accused were arrested by the police after Samo Ali complained that the suspects hijacked and robbed him of his property. During police investigation, the three admitted to the crime in in violation of Subchapter ‘C” section 15.30 of the new penal code of Liberia.

Speaking to our Correspondent in an interview the vitamin explained that the incident took place on June 10, 2020 at the hour of 9:00pm while making a phone call in the street, a situation he noted that compelled him to complain to the police.

Meanwhile, the defendants have been sent to jail at the Harper Central Prison.
