Information gathered by the GNN has revealed that the Minister of Information, Culture Affairs and Tourism (MICAT), Lenn Eugene Nagbe is to shortly be named as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs following the exist of Minister Gbehzohngar Findley who is venturing into becoming Senator of Grand Bassa County in the pending December 8, Midterm Senatorial election.
According to our source, Minister Nagbe has been favored by the Chief Executive, President George Manneh Weah amongst several others including the Liberian Ambassador to the United States, George S. W. Patten, and Liberia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Dee‑Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., and others whose name are yet to be disclosed.
Our informed source also said consultations are underway for all necessary arrangement for Minister Nagbe new appointment to be announced, while at the same time a new Minister of the Ministry of Information, Culture Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) is currently being scout, this time looking at someone who will propagate the messages of the government locally and internationally in a positive perspective.
Political analysts who spoke to the GNN said the news of the appointment of Lenn Eugene Nagbe as Foreign Minister is confirmed, it won’t be strange, because according to them he has all the necessary credentials, and furthermore he has been with the time it was founded to today’s date.
“The President will like to have people in such areas who will understand his language, and propagate his vision properly,” one of the political analysts who spoke to the GNN noted.
