Nimba Citizens Call On President Weah To Speedily Sign Solway MDA

Lauding the Liberian, President George Manneh Weah for his numerous developmental programs in Nimba County, a member of the Nimba County Legislature, Prince Tokpah called on the President to kindly sign the Solway Mining Mineral Development Agreement (MDA).

Speaking further at the program, Representative Tokpah said despite in the absence of the company to having it’s MDA sign, it is doing well to provide jobs and scholarship opportunities to the people of Nimba County.

Honorable Tokpah also used the occasion in the presence of President Weah  poured praises on Solway Mining for it’s help to the people.

Addressing citizens, President Weah assured the citizens of his Government’s commitment to bringing improvement in the lives of his citizens.

On the issue of Solway Mining MDA, the President said both the Solway and ArcelorMittal needs to sit together to discuss the issued, noting, “The owner of Solway Mining is my family, my interest is also in it  in too, both them must sit together to discuss that issue’, President Weah told citizens of Nimba County.

The Liberian leader, also informed the citizens of Sanniqullie that that enjoy solar lights as of the end of his remarks, nothing that  the Minister of Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel Falo McGill  will turn on the lights in the city.
