LIBERIA: Several Departments Of GBCC Bag Bachelor Degree Status

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Grand Bassa Community College (GBCC) has disclosed that the College is set to run a Bachelor Degree program effectively 2021.

The disclosure was made recently by Dr. Lawrence K. Bropleh when he spoke to a team of reporters on the main campus of the college in Pensberry Community outside Buchanan.

Speaking further, Dr. Bropleh said, “ Our dream as an academic institution is to be contextually and academically relevant to our people here in Grand Bassa County,  Monrovia is not Liberia hence, our young people must not always have to bear the heavy costs associated with living in Monrovia to obtain Bachelor degree”.

Noting further he stressed, “With the interest of our people ultra-foremost, we are pleased to announce that the Grand Bassa Community College will, beginning next semester, 2021, offer Bachelor degrees for some of the departments of the college”.

He mentioned that the Health Sciences, College of Business & Public Administration and the College of Education & Humanities will be extended.

“In preparation for the advancement of the College of Science and Technology to BSC program, the Administration has contracted a qualified Liberian IT company to setup the College’s information system”.

According to him, the setup when completed will host all GBCC’s records and regulate the movement and management of the information.

“We want to assure our citizens that the BSC programs at the college will be very effective because we qualified lecturers”.

Dr. Bropleh wants every citizen take advantage of the BSC programs.
