Following the transfer of Sam Manneh as Deputy Managing Director for Administration at the National Insurance Corporation of Liberia (NICOL), a new Press Secretary has been appointed by the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah.
Mr. Isaac Solo Kelgbeh is a Liberian journalist who once worked for The inquirer Newspaper for several years and later at the UNMIL Radio and ECOWAS Radio as Public Information Assistant before being recruited to serve in South Sudan as Public Information Officer for the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission (UNMISS) in that country.
Mr. Kelgbeh’s appointment as Press Secretary has been embraced by the Liberian media community, and his relationship at the Executive Mansion will build a cordial relationship between the media and the presidency.
