LIBERIA: CPP Executives In Southeastern Liberia, Touring Several Parts

CPP Chairman, Alexander B. Cummings in Maryland County

Executives of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) headed by its Chairman, Alexander Benedict Cummings are currently touring the southeastern part of Liberia making series of acquainting visits.

According to our Maryland County Correspondent, the CPP delegation which also comprised of tough-talking Montserrado County District 10 lawmaker, Yekeh Kolubah arrived in Maryland County on July 24, 2020 and received what our Correspondent described as a rousing welcome by the people of Maryland County.

Hundreds of partisans and well-wishers in the country overwhelmingly received Mr. Cummings and his delegation, Mr. Cummings told the people of the County that his visit to the County is for three major reasons which include the endorsement of Eric W. Giko a candidate of the CPP in the pending midterm senatorial elections, and to also celebrate the Independence Day with his people, and further inform Marylanders about the coming together of the four Collaborating Political Parties (CPP).

Recounting the togetherness of the four political parties which found the collaboration, Mr. Cummings named the Unity party (UP), Liberty Party (LP), Alternative National Congress (ANC), and All Liberian party (ALP), and further noted that their dreams is to make Liberia better during their reign.

The occasion which was beautifully climaxed by the endorsement ceremony of the CPP aspirant was held in Malalue Karluway District #3, Maryland County on July 26, 2020. During the ceremony the Mr. Cummings used the occasion to present  Eric Giko to the people of the County, also explained that Maryland should vote : Giko in the pending senatorial election, noting, “Marylanders, I am your own son if you love me vote for Eric W. Giko in the Midterm Senatorial electionson December 8, 2020 for what he called “For a new change positively”.

For his part, Representative Yekeh Kolubah told Marylanders to vote his interest;  Giko, lamenting that Maryland County is one of the most cleanest counties in the Republic of Liberia, adding, ” Marylanders, let me appreciate you for the warmest welcome you offered us during our arrival in the county, I promise if you support CPP  to be successful in 2023, will advocate to make Maryland the next Capital City of Liberia.

Speaking for his endorsement, Giko who appeared very happy and delighted expressed thanks and appreciation to the CPP through Mr. Cummings for his endorsement, adding, “My people of Maryland County please vote for me on December 8 for a better change, and forget about all those that filled you in the past,” Giko told his fellow citizens and partisans.
