LIBERIA: Court Sentences 38-Year-Old Woman For Human Trafficking

A 31 year old woman has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment, for trafficking more than Seven Liberian women to Oman

Regina Keppa alias Aisha Kelleh is sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for trafficking more than Seven Liberian Women to Oman, under the pretense of providing them better living Conditions.

Delivering the ruling Tuesday, Criminal Court “A” Judge Roosevelt Willie also instructed Madam Keppa to pay a fine of Five thousand U.S. Dollars, in accordance with the amended Trafficking Law.

Regina Keppa was indicted in March this year for alleged human trafficking of Liberian Women to Oman, after promising lucrative jobs that could pay them at least Five Hundred United States Dollars.
