LIBERIA: Amid Investigation Of Niko Ivanka, Another M/V ELO-HIM Vessel Arrives In Maryland
Amid an ongoing investigation on the activities of the Niko Ivanka vessel that sank into the Atlantic Ocean with several dead, another vessel, M/V Elo-Him has reportedly arrived at the Port City of Harper, Maryland County on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
The vessel which was heavenly loaded with goods was received by the Harper Sea Port Director, Wallace W. Wallace who thanked the Maritime Authority and Maryland County Legislative Caucus for the effort made in the process.
He said since the shipwreck, the government has never ceased working out things, and ensuing that the right things are done, while investigation continues, and further wished to thank the National Government and the Maryland Legislative Caucus for always working in the direction of our people.
“I’m pleased to inform you that another two vessels identified as M/U Cassopea and JTK OI are currently loading for Harper and will soon arrive in Maryland County”. Harper Port Director said.
Director Wallace used the occasion to call on Maryland residents and citizens in the region to make use of the Port, stating that goods are now available and the port is always open for business.
Many business men and women including ordinary citizens were seen with smiles in the faces; couple of months ago, there were scarcity of major goods in the markets of Maryland and its environ and prices being hiked.
