Jeety Kind Gestures Overwhelm Weala Citizens, Gives Rise To Be Honored

Due to his numerous humanitarian support through his feeding programs to thousands of disadvantaged Liberians, including inmates from various prison centers, a businessman and a diplomat, Upjit Singh Sachdeva affectionately call Jeety has been praised by scores of Liberians for his high-level humanitarian assistance to the people of Liberia.

The entire Monrovia and its environ have been overly swarmed by the patriotic level of Jeety’s humanitarian support towards the people of Liberia, especially the disadvantaged youths and the elderly who cannot afford to feed themselves but live  by the humanitarian gestures of Mr. Jeety.

During the Christmas season, one of the benefiting communities of Jeety’s humanitarian services, residents of Weala, Margibi County graciously honored Indian Businessman, Upjit Singh Sachdeva for his outstanding humanitarian gestures in Liberia especially Margibi County over the years.

Despite being successful in his business ventures, the citizens said Mr. Sachdeva alias Jeety has never forgotten the importance of giving back to the community and as such, the need to appreciate his philanthropic efforts can never be overemphasized.

Jeety received the honored-on Christmas Day, when he and his team feed over 3,000 children in commemoration of Christmas, demonstrating his commitment to creating a positive impact on the Liberian society.

Jeety, as his usual activities also fed 1381 inmates with hot cooked meal, water and soft drinks coupled with the donated of additional plates and spoons at the Monrovia Central Prison (South Beach) including several disadvantaged youths (Zogoes) in Monrovia.

Remarking, during the gowning of Mr. Sachdeva, Cinta Township Commissioner, Roland Johnson said their decision is demonstration of the good the continued to receive from the Indian business tycoon I’m their community.

Commissioner Johnson, speaking on behalf the citizens further that their decision is in recognition of the fact that Jeety’s philanthropic efforts have not gone unnoticed by them as direct beneficiaries of his kindness.

Johnson noted that Jeety’s contributions to the welfare of the less fortunate and prisoners in Monrovia as well as the people of Weala and the country at large have already earned him respect and admiration from both locals and authorities across Margibi County.

The Commissioner was filled with joy further thanked Jeety and his team for the construction of Jeety Rubber LLC factory in Weala and the installation of running water, noting that the facility has already begun boosting the local economy as well as providing thousands of jobs for the citizens of Weala and its surroundings.

He the extolled the government for creating an environment that allows investments to flourish, asserting, “Jeety Rubber LLC facility is a statement of his love and concerns he has for this country and its people.”

“Hence we from this community want to thank you Jeety and we love and appreciate all that you are doing for our country and its citizenry,” he said.

In respond, Jeety thanked the citizens for the gift and honor bestowed upon him, and emphasized the need for those he described as the country’s future leader to be celebrated and cater to.

Recognizing Christmas can be a difficult time for those who lack parental care or live in challenging circumstances, he also disclosed that he and team are committed to ensuring that smiles are put on the faces of the children every big day.

Meanwhile, to ensure that the children experienced a glimmer of hope and happiness during the festive season, Jeety and team further organized a heartwarming children party, ensuring that all of the kids in attendance feel the love and joy of Christmas.

Jeety collaborating with the county local authority and volunteers further arranged the party complete with decorations, gifts, and entertainment, as the joy and smiles on the children’s faces were a testament to the impact Jeety’s gestures had on their lives.

However, the honor bestowed upon Jeety is a testament to his selflessness and dedication to the welfare of others and with his unwavering support for prisoners and children during holidays, has throughout the year showcased his deep understanding of the challenges faced by some Liberians.

Furthermore, his contributions have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the lives of those he has reached out to, serving as an inspiration for others to follow in his footsteps.

According to information  gathered  by the GNN-Liberia, this feeding program by Jeety started since 2017, targeting over 1,000 individuals daily.
