Grand Gedeh Citizens Decry Influx Of illicit Drugs; Say Most Young Liberians Are Falling Prey, Seek Government’s Swift Intervention
Citizens in Toe Town, Grand Gedeh County have again raised alarm over the influx of illicit drugs which is mostly been abused by teenagers in the county
According to them, the situation is going off hand and most of the young people involved are robbing homes and attacking citizens at night.
The Citizens are however calling on the government to be more robust to break down existing ghettos so that citizens can have freedom in moving about in the area.
Our correspondent said the current wave of drugs users in the county has encouraged girls’ underage to carry out prostitution leading them to teenage pregnancy.
