New Kru Town, Monrovia – In a touching act of philanthropy to commemorate her 41st birthday, Mrs. Vesta Varney, Chief Executive Officer of the Fallah and Vesta Child Care Foundation, has generously donated essential baby items valued at $1,100 USD to the government-run Redemption Hospital in New Kru Town, her very own birthplace.
The thoughtful donation, presented on Thursday, May 22, 2025, encompassed a comprehensive array of vital supplies for newborns and new mothers. The items included baby soap, a substantial supply of Pampers and wipes, feeding bottles, baby powder, traditional lappas, and various other crucial necessities, all aimed at providing much-needed support to mothers navigating the challenges of childbirth and early parenthood at the hospital.
During the presentation ceremony, Mrs. Varney, a dynamic young entrepreneur and dedicated humanitarian, articulated that the donation was a deeply personal extension of her commitment to giving back to her childhood community and providing assistance to struggling mothers. Her voice filled with empathy, she expressed, “It’s truly painful to witness so many children on the streets lacking proper care. For me, giving back to the community, particularly to vulnerable mothers and children, brings immense joy.
