As Attack On Former Chief Justice Scares Many, Senators’ Deliberation Freezes

The reported continuous attack on the residence of the former Chief Justice of Liberia, Cllr. Gloria Musa Scott, a situation which prompted members of the Liberian Senate to call for the issue to be placed on the floor for discussion was yesterday, reportedly denied by the Pro-Temporal of the Liberian Senate, Grand Kru County Senator Albert Chie.

The refusal of the Pro-Temp annoyance many of the colleagues who loudly shouted against the refusal of Senator Chie by disallowing the issue of the former Chief Justice’s attack by unknown armed men which led to the death of one of the daughters and wounding others.

Some of the Senators including Darius Dillon of Montserrado County Steve Zargo, Lofa County and Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence of Grand Bassa County amongst others who openly rejected the action of the Pro-Temp to ‘Down play’ the issue of the former Chief Justice’s attack on her residence and the killing of one of the daughters of Cllr. Scott.

However, the spokesman of the Liberia National Po lice , Moses Carter speaking journalist, disclosed that one of the perpetrators who is believed to believe to one of the former contractors on the run.
