LIBERIA: Nimba Senator PYJ Wants Lawmakers Carry Firearms

As the issue of mysterious killings g overwhelming the Liberian society with the latest and scaring situation which led the attack on the residence of the former Chief Justice of Liberia, Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Brewerville outside Monrovia at 11pm gave rise for a call to be made by the Nimba County Senator, Prince Y. Johnson requesting lawmakers to carry firearms.

Addressing Plenary of the Senate that all lawmakers amid these scaring situations in the case of the brutal attack on the residence of the former Chief Justice which led to the death of her daughter, and wounding several others be allowed to carry firearms.

The call by the Nimba County Senator who is also at former warlord pondered many Liberians as to what give rise to such request by the Senator to call for lawmakers to carry firearms.
