Drug Dealers arrested in Central Liberia

The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency Bong detachment has arrested more than two drugs traffickers in the county.
According to our Bong County Correspondent, the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency, Bong County detachment commander Ales Toweh said the arrests were made on separate tip-offs in the County.
Mr. Toweh named Victor Vah and Abraham Sayon as some of the drugs suspects already arrested by their team.
Abraham Sayon was arrested with 29.3 kilogram of Heroin valued $ 35,160LD while Victor Vah age 32 was arrested with 16 kilogram in Salala, valued 101, 200 Liberian dollars.
The Bong County L DEA boss also named the arrests of 11 kilogram in David Dean town valued 77, 000LD.
According to our Bong Correspondent, Drugs Trafficking in Bong is on the increase adding that few months back the LDEA Bong county detachment arrested one Tony Martin a Nigerian with 33.3 kilogram of Heroin in the County.
Saying that the street value of the 33.3 kilogram of Heroin was placed at little over thirty nine thousand nine hundred Liberian Dollars.
Our Correspondent also name the arrest Ezekiel Brown a twenty one 21 year old man with 20Kilogram of Marijuana placing the street value of the marijuana at little over LD$ 1, 50.000 (one hundred fifty thousand Liberian Dollars) according to the LDEA.
Commander Toweh further said 25 kilogram of marijuana valued 175,000 was turned over to him by the commander of the Liberia National Police Bong Commander Frederick Nepay recently in the County.
Commander Toweh also stated that during the arrests, they were able to arrest a short single barrel gun from some gamble players in Kollieta –Wola on the Gbarnga-Ganta highway.
Meanwhile the LDEA Boss told our correspondent that present, some of the suspects have gone at-large while search continues for their arrest.
