Swedish Embassy Official Urges Liberians To Vote Peacefully
An official of the embassy of Sweden accredited to Liberia, Johan Romari has called on Liberians to be more peaceful during the ongoing runoff election in Liberia.
Mr. Romari who headed a two man team during a tour of several polling centers in Monrovia and it’s environs alongside with Internews USAID sponsored election fellows with their Mentors, also praised Liberian voters for their peaceful activities during the first round of election.
At the Jallah town polling center in Electoral District 8, voters were seen in long queue waiting to cast their vote in favor of their choice for the presidency.
Even though there was a very low turnout at most of the polling places visited, those who turned out were excited to queue out to form part of those who voted.
