Sheik Jalloh Wants Isthmic University, Heath, Educational System Establish In Liberia

The Islamic Advisor to the President Dr. George Weah, Sheik Usmane T. Jalloh has urged Muslims to rally their resources to construct Islamic University, Hospitals and also to buttress government effort in the educational system of the country.
He said Muslim community in Liberia control ninety percent (90%) of the country’s economy yet the Muslims cannot boast of Islamic University, Hospitals and their own educational system in the country as it is being done by the Christians and other religious in the country.
Sheik Jalloh made the statement over the weekend in Monrovia, at program marking the dedication of the Shik Mohammed Salim Bin Bakhit Central Mosque’S Hand Pump held in the Township of Caldwell.
He noted that the Muslims community though are in the position to construct Islamic University, Hospitals and also buttress government effort in the educational system of the country they are not willing or not prepared to do so but many at times depends on support from the donors while they used their resources to construct their private homes and improved their businesses in the country.
He however, call on all Muslims in the country to remain united stressing that with unity they will do or undertake any initiative that they want to for the growth and development of the country.
Afaor his part, the chief Imam of the Shik Mohammed Salim Bin Bakhit Central Mosque’S Abubakar Feaka, lauded Sheik Usmane T. Jalloh for his initiative and used the occasion to call all Muslims in the country rally around the Islamic Advisor to move the religion forward as he isb the first person to be appointed to that position.
According to him, since Liberia declared her independence in 1847, no past Liberian president or government ever had Islamic Advisor except President Weah so, Muslims in Liberia should join him for unity and transformation.
