Senator J. Milton Teahjay, ALCOP Endorse Boakai’s Presidency Ahead Of Run-off

Outgoing Sinoe County Senator, J. Milton Teahjay, has endorsed the presidential bid of the Opposition Unity Party’s standard bearer ahead of the November 14, 2023 runoff.

According to him, His decision to endorse Amb. Joseph N. Boakai, the Unity Party’s candidate for the November 14, 2023 runoff election, is bound to have noteworthy implications.

Sen. Teahjay promised to campaign vigorously for Amb. Boakai. ” I will not only support the candidate but also intends to actively work to secure his victory.” Teahjay said.

The Defeated Sinoe County Senator noted that his endorsement will significantly influence public opinion and potentially attract additional supporters to the Opposition Unity Party.

It is essential to highlight that political switches of support are not uncommon in democratic systems, as politicians base their decisions on various factors such as ideology, governance track records, and personal aspirations.

In a related the All-Liberian Coalition Party, (ALCOP) and the Unity Party Alliance have been holding consultations that will lead to an endorsement of the Unity Party Alliance in the presidential run off scheduled for the 14th of November 2023.

According to the Standard Bearer of the All-Liberian Coalition Party Mr. Losine Kamara, today’s meeting was an accumulation of a long-standing relationship between Ambassador Joseph Nyuma Boakai of the Unity Party and the All-Liberian Coalition Party.

He said the objective of all well-meaning Liberians is to rescue the nation from the present predicament.

For his part, the Standard Bearer of the Unity Party Ambassador Joseph Nyuma Boakai said that all Liberians are entitled to the country and its resources and that all should enjoy the benefits of the land including freedom of religion and worship and that all Liberians should work together to achieving this goal.

He entreated all Liberians to work together for the development of the nation.
