The Liberian Senate and the House of Representatives of the 55th National Legislature Continue to be applauded for putting into place dynamic and courageous leaderships following their Monday legislative elections.
These latest worded commendations came from the Management of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies.
Speaking to reporters at the institution’s central office on the Bypass, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Elton Johns says, both Houses have clearly demonstrated high degree of political maturity during their respective free and fair democratic elections which show that they as lawmakers of the 55th Legislature, they are the true deputies of the Liberia people.
The Bukonjadeh’s CEO Johns hopes that results of their Monday elections will practically be translated into real political dividends that will lead to the enactment of appropriate laws that will attract investors, better the lives of the citizenry economically and improve basic social services for the citizens.
Johns believes that Liberian people are indeed grateful over the election of Sen. Nyonblee Lawrence Karngar as Pro-temp, of the Liberian Senate and Rep. Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa as Speaker of the Lower House respectively.
“We hope that both leaderships of the two Houses will collectively work along with President-elect, Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai to change the paradigm to keep Liberia remains on the path of peace, stability and economic prosperity in Liberia”. Johns concluded.
