President Weah Makes Appointments in Government

The Liberian leader, President, Dr. George Manneh Weah has made additional appointments in the government, affecting the judiciary and the Governance Commission.

Those nominated in government are Cllr. Golda Bonah Elliott, Relieving Judge, and Cllr. Mameita Jabateh-Sirleaf, Resident Judge Criminal Court D.

Also appointed by the President today, January 28, 2023, was Atty. Garrison Doldeh Yealue, Jr., Chairman of the Governance Commission.

The nominations made on Saturday, January 28, 2023, are subject to confirmation by the Honorable Liberian Senate.
