Police Rescues Lady Accused Of Witchcraft That Led To July 14 Fatal Accident That Killed Six People This Week, As  Angry Crowds Decent On ‘Alleged Witchcraft’

Police in Ganta, Nimba County swiftly rescued a lady identify as Princess who was been accused of witchcraft, and was allegedly linked to the motor accident this Tuesday, July 14 that led to the death of six businesspeople on the Kakata/Gbarnga highway.

Witchcraft is the practice of magical skills, spells, and abilities, according to our Correspondent in the county, news spread like wildfire following a confession in Sanniquellie by some young girls that Princess, a sister of one of the victims, only identified as Melvina who died in the July 14 accident had been the cause of her death, and others.

Following the allegation, the report said dozens of angry crowds from the Gleinyeluu community in Sanniquellie gathered in their numbers to revenge the loss of the relatives in the July 14 motor accident, a situation which drew the attention of the police in the county.

Speaking to our Correspondent in the county, the head of Operations of the local LNP, Lamie Mendine, said the police was informed about the situation and took hold of the matter securing the life of the girl from the hands of  the angry crowds whose intention was to harm the accused.

According to the Ganta Police Operations, the police was able to put the situation under control, while those who were about to misbehave and ill-treat the Princess who had been accused of witchcraft, while Princess was taken to a safe place at the police station.
