Police in Kakata are investigating the senior pastor of the Kakata Philadelphia Church for allegedly raping a 21yr old pregnant woman who is also a member of his church.
Pastor D. Franklin Snorton turned himself over for investigation on Friday, August 20, 2021, following a complaint by the survivor (name withheld).
Explaining her ordeals, the survivor said she was sent to pastor Snorton by her grandmother to deliver a thousand Liberian dollars as an electricity bill when the Clergyman allegedly harassed her sexually.
“When I carried the money to the house, Pastor Snorton asked me to enter his office with the money, upon entering his office, he forcefully had sex with me,” the accuser said.
Pastor Snorton has meanwhile denied having any sexual intercourse with the 21year old pregnant woman as alleged by her.
He has vowed to face justice in order to exonerate himself as he spends his first night behind bars. By: Philip Dekergai Gbana
