The U.S. women’s soccer team claims its fourth back-to-back World Cup title after beating the Netherlands two to zero.

Forward and Co-captain Megan Rapinoe scored the first goal in the second half with a penalty kick against the Netherlands.

Shortly after, Midfielder Rose Lavelle scored the second goal.

Here in the city, fans are going wild.

“I’m so happy. I’m so pumped. Back to back world cup champions, that’s crazy. I’m so excited. It was a shock that they didn’t score in the first half because they have been scoring early. But Rose Lavelle she makes it look easy,” said Alyssa Barone, a Team USA fan.

Mayor de Blasio has already invited the ladies to the city for a grand celebration.
