Nathaniel McGill Amazingly Display Wealth, Gives Mother Apt Burial

The golden casket bearing the remains of Minister Nathaniel McGill’s mother

It was amazing to many mourners who attended the funeral rites of the mother of Liberia’s Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel Falo McGill, Ma Wata Varmah McGill in the Monrovia suburb.

The hedonistic display of wealth in the midst of abject poverty, backed with the deadly COVID-19 pandemic when government on waiting list for foreign governments to send COVID-19 vaccines to Liberia, the display of wealth by President Weah confidant seems overwhelming.

Many Liberians who spoke to the GNN are wondering as to why amid the downtrend of the Liberian economy, officials of government continue to display their wealth via the purchasing of luxury cars, and the most recent mausoleum built as a resort with windows, decorative pillars and 5  giant-sized pictures of the dead mother of the Minister of State.

International donors who have been there to help fix the country broken economy by infusing millions of United States Dollars may have second thought agreeing that indeed there is no need to rescue the country from its broken economy because those who are governing the country are overly wealthy, and there is no need of providing financial aid.

The beautifully built cemetery (House) of Minister McGill’s dead mother

The grave site of Minister McGill’s late mother was a scene to see with the construction of a modern dwelling residence where she was laid to rest, as many onlookers stood in amazement to see the most expensive burial site of ‘Ma Zoe’ as she was affectionately call on earth by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren including her admirers now lying in her one room beautifully construction House.
