MoCI Closed Down 10 Businesses For Violating Liberia’s Intellectual Property Laws

Over ten businesses shut-down by Commerce Ministry for violating Liberia’s intellectual property regulations.

The affected businesses include: Son of Grace, Too-Much Business center situated in Old Road Community, Mike Stephen Enterprise, Aryeh Production, Morning Star Business, Angel Production Enterprise and Honesty Investment in Central Monrovia.

Others are Chester Enterprise, Lianclar Business Center, B-1 Business Center, Dream Electronics, Banau Enterprise and Avish Business Center, Central Monrovia.

The rest include: Standard View, Duala, Bushrod Island, Paradise Movie, Sky Vision International and Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Paynesville and its surroundings.

According to Commerce Ministry and the Intellectual Property office, the businesses, predominately owned by non-Liberians have been engaged in unauthorized sales, duplication of creative contents with copyright and related rights implications.
