Mineke Foundation receives Civil Society 2022 “Outstanding NGO” Annual Recognition award

In 1968, Dabwe Wiah and his Dutch wife Mineke Muilerman settled in an area approximately 18 km from Monrovia (Liberia) to start a farm there. Their dream was to teach Liberians how to grow their own food by educating them about better agricultural methods .

Mineke Foundation received the Civil Society 2022 “Outstanding NGO” Annual Recognition award for our capacity building programs offered to the less fortunate and disadvantaged Liberians. “

We are honored and proud to receive this award. Since 2009, we have been working hard to make a difference for the inhabitants of Dabwe Town and surrounding communities in Gardnersville.

We have overcome setbacks and achieved greatresults. This recognition encourages and motivates us to continue our work”, says Tonia Dabwe, Founder and Chair of Mineke Foundation.

The Civil Society 2022 “Outstanding NGO” Annual Recognition Award was handed out by the Society for the Promotion of Peace, National Reconciliation and Reunification, based in Monrovia.
