Mr. Sonyah Peterson, Executive Director of the Liberia Massacre Survivors Association

A group of War victims under the banner, Liberia Massacre Survivors Association, has said all warlords in Liberian crisis should face prosecution.

LIMASA in a statement called on President Weah to ensure that all recommendations of the TRC are implemented.

Liberians have mixed views about the establishment of a war crime tribunal for the prosecution of those that bear greatest responsibility of the long years of civil unrest.

Some prefer restorative justice, while others say retributive justice is the best way to heal the country’s wounds.

Mr. Sonyah Peterson, Executive Director of the Liberia Massacre Survivors Association, said his group prefers retributive justice.
