Mr. Samuel Kpanbayeazee Duworko, LMC New Executive Director

The Liberia Media Center (LMC) has begun the immediate tracking of the 150 Day    Deliverables   of the Government of Liberia’s Pro-Poor Agenda.

The purpose, according to LMC Executive Director, Samuel Duworko, is to ensure that the CDC led – Government fulfills its promises to Liberians.

Mr. Duworko is quoted in a release issued Tuesday, March 13, 2018, as saying the exercise will be carried out in the fifteen counties of Liberia.

The tracking of the 150 Day Deliverables is a self-sponsored initiative by the LMC and constitutes Phase I of the organization’s Democratic Governance Project.

The project will be implemented through media monitoring and the use of the Freedom of Information Law.

After the 150 days, a report will be issued by the Liberia Media Center (LMC).

The Center is however, calling on national and local authorities to cooperate with its monitors because the government has a social contract to Liberians.
