LIPACE Launches Liberia’s First Independent and External Exam Call Center

For the first time in Liberia’s educational system, the Liberia Institute for the Promotion of Academic Excellence (LIPACE) is this Friday expected to host Liberia’s first independent and external Exam Call Center accessible to students, parents, teachers, and school administration for the duration of the national WASSCE exam.

According to a release, the operation of the Exam Call Center is historic for Liberia as the or5ganization transition to a more regional exam in the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).

The Exam Call Center will operate as an information sharing hub to enable students, parents, teachers, and school administration share experiences, make enquiries, and get real time updates during the conduct of the 2018 WASSCE exams.

All calls are completely anonymous as we hope to strengthen the feedback loop and promote transparency and accountability in the conduct of the exam. We are grateful for the positive support received from WAEC – Liberia and their willingness to improving future exam governance through a careful analysis of feedback obtained from the call center.
