The Liberian Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor has publicly clarified link to detain Liberian businessman in the US; denies ever recommending Bassirou Kante for a diplomatic passport
The Vice President office categorically states that at no time the office recommended the insurance of said Diplomatic Passport, but, affirms that VP Taylor has interacted with Sheik Kante.
A release issued by the VP office on Monday said it is true that VP Taylor has many friends across all sectors of society in her political sojourn.
According to the release, the Vice President is of the opinion that the Rule of Law provides the opportunity for all allegations of wrongdoing to be adjudicated as such, it would be degrading to suggest Vice President Howard-Taylor is aware of the personal dealings of anyone she may have interacted with at any level.
