LIBERIA: Two LIS Officers Who Reportedly Flog ‘Bike Rider’ Cited For Questioning

Two officers of the Liberia Immigration Service with an Aid of the National Security Agency assigned to Bombom Crossing Point in Porkpa District have been cited for questioning.
According to GNN Correspondent in the county, they have been accused of brutally flogging a bike rider in Bombom Crossing Point who is currently at the point of death.
The Officers are identified as David S. Kollie, Augustine J. Jackson both of the Liberia Immigration Service and Joseph Mulbah an Officer Assistant of the National Security Agency, NSA.
According to our reporter, the incident occurred on August 14, 2020 barely two weeks ago but has been under covered.
The motor bike rider is only identified as Sekou a resident of Butter Hill Community in Porkpa District.
Our reporter said, the condition of the biker is worsening and that made it to be brought to the public attention.
He further that the victim has been undergoing treatment in Butter Hill but due to his worsening condition, he was on Thursday, August 27, 2020 brought to the Sinje Health Center in Garwula District for further treatment.
Our reporter said the two LIS Officers and NSA Aid who allegedly did the act were today transferred to Robertsport for interrogation by their LNP and the LIS County Authority.
