LIBERIA: Sen. J. Gble-bo Brown Ends Daylong meeting with Citizens in Maryland County

Despite the observing of the 6pm to 6am curfew imposed by the LiberianΒ leader, President George Manneh Weah, calm have been restored in Maryland County, as Senator J. Gbe-bo Brown recently held series of town hall meetings with several citizens in the County.
The meetings were held with aggrieved motorcyclists, Traditional Leaders, Rural Women, and the bereaved families, where he publicly expressed regrets over the gruesome murder of the late Mordocious Nyemah, including other mysterious deaths of peaceful citizens across the County.
βI have come purposely because of the situation in our county, my colleagues and I held series of meetings including the Superintendent and the Ministry of Justice. The Government of Liberia is very concerned about this case and all other cases, I want to join the other leaders in the county to solve this problem. I understand your frustration and anger, but I want you to remain calm, thanks to God that we now have a suspect who has agreed of committing the act, I want to assure you that justice will prevail”.
The lawmaker used the occasion to call on residents of Maryland County to be law abiding and report any unlawful act being committed across the County. Adding that Liberia is a Country of law, and the citizens must join the authority and keep the peace.
Moreover, Senator J.Gble-bo Brown upon his visit in Maryland County He identified with the family of the Motorcyclist who was Mudered recently in Maryland County with some items includes: 4 bags of 25k Rice, 10,000Ld etc as his initial contribution for the feeding of the family.
For his part the Superintendent of Maryland County Hon: George A. Prowd happily extended thanks and appreciation to Senator Brown for his present in the County.
Superintendent Prowd told the citizens of Maryland County that the local authority will work with the County Lawmakers, include the National government to bring the perpetrator and those involve in the killing of the Motorcyclist to light.
“Please my follow citizens here in Maryland County let work together collectively and respect the Curfew hour. Superintendent Prowd lamented.
