LIBERIA: Road Connectivity Overwhelms Barrabo Statutory District Following Completion Of 30.8Km Road Project

Citizens and resident of the Barrabo Statutory District in Maryland County, southeastern Liberia are said to be overwhelmed following the completion of a 30.8 Kilometer road in their area.

Speaking to reporters, Maryland County Assistant Development Superintendent Mr. Runin Scott explained that the road construction in the interior part of the County was done by the CHEN LIBERIA and, sponsored by SAPEC/ MOA with funding from the African Development Bank (ADB).

He expressed gratitude to the contractors for the completion of the road, which he noted will afford citizens in the area to move about with freely, adding, “I am also indeed excited because our people in the interior part of the County will be able to have access, or bring their foodstuffs in Pleebo for marketing”.

He further stated that other feeder road projects are under construction in the county through the sponsorship of the Sweden Government, and the Liberia road Funds, noting, “As Assistant Development Superintendent of Maryland County let me extend my deepest thanks to the African Development Bank (ADB), and the Liberia Government for the level of Support.”
