LIBERIA: President Weah Places Maritime Boss on Leave of Absence
The President George Manneh Weah has granted a three-month leave of absence to the Commissioner of Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA), Lenn Eugene Nagbe.
The leave takes effect on August 4, 2023.
While Commissioner Nagbe is away, the Senior Deputy Commissioner of Liberia Maritime Authority, Mr. Emmanuel N. Reeves will administer the affairs of the institution as Officer-in-Charge.
Some political analysts who spoke to the GNN regarding this recent decision by the Liberian Chief Executive, noted that such decision could be the recent appointed of Mr. Nagbe by the President as Campaign Chair could one of the factors for this latest development.
