LIBERIA: Police In Maryland Hunts For 90 Inmates Who Broke Jail

The lifeless body of the motorcycle who was allegedly murdered by unknown persons in Maryland County that led to a countywide protest

Following President George Weah’s declaration of a 6pm to 6am curfew in the south-eastern County of Maryland, police in that part of the country have declared 90 inmates who recently broke jail wanted, and that a search operation is now underway.

The spokesman of the Liberia National Police, Moses Carter told reporters in Monrovia Thursday that the inmates escaped from the Harper Central correctional facility on Wednesday evening including the man who reportedly killed the motorcycle that drew huge attention, and also gave rise to protest in the County which led to the burning of the House of Representatives Speaker, Bhofal Chambers.
