The Liberian Government run transport service, the National Transit Authority Administrative Building burns to arches, as several properties including cash in the tone of over nine hundred thousand Liberian dollars destroyed
The National Transit Authority says it has lost over 9 hundred 80 thousand Liberian Dollars and 9 million Leone as a result of a major fire incident which gutted the institution’s administrative building.
On early Thursday morning, employees including the NTA Management Team woke up to the news of the entire administrative building being gutted by fire.
But speaking to this station, NTA Managing Director Herbie McCauley said the huge sum of money amounts to 8 hundred 90 thousand Liberian Dollars, 9 million Leone and 6 – hundred United States Dollars.
He added that the monies which were kept in a box, was a financial report made by conductors who are running the NTA Buses across the country.
