The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Labour and the Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum of the UAE has signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for future cooperation between the Ministry and the UAE.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum is a member of the ruling family of the UAE.
The signing of the MOU took placed on July 1, 2019 in Dubai the Capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Labour Minister Hon. Chief Moses Y. Kollie signed on behalf of the Ministry of Labour and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum signed on behalf of his office.
The MOU sets the broad perimeters for possible cooperation between, His Highness private office and the Ministry of Labour and is also intended to cement ongoing discussion on improving Liberia’s Work Permit Profile.
The signing of MOU came as result of an invitation extended to the Minister of Labour Hon. Chief Moses Y. Kollie to visit His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum the ruling family of the UAE.
Minister Kollie and delegation returned to the country over the weekend.
