Mayor Koijee Accused Of Allegedly Ordering Police To Brutalize A Protester Who Calls For Financial Audit

The City Mayor of the Monrovia, Jefferson Koijee has been accused of allegedly brutalizing a protester who is calling for financial audit of the Monrovia City Mayor
According to report aired on the OK FM Liberia, officers of the Monrovia City Police have allegedly brutalized a Liberian Activist for consistently protecting in front of the Monrovia City Hall.
Activist McClain Renner told OK Fm that he staged a protest at Monrovia City Hall for the past five days, requesting Audit by the General Auditing Commission over reported funds received by the corporation over the years.
Renner explained that on Wednesday, while carrying out the peaceful protest, City Police officers brutalized him on the orders of Mayor Jefferson Koijee, amid his refusal to vacate the premises of the Monrovia City Hall.
