LIBERIA: Margibi Lawmaker, Ellen Attoh-Wreh Lunches LD $1.5M dollars village saving empowerment project

The Representative of electoral district #3, Margibi County, Hon. Ellen Attoh-Wreh  have Launched a LD$1.5million Dollars Village Saving Empowerment project for 35 village saving groups in district #3 with Johnny Mannehta Jackville community group being the first beneficiary.

The program was lunched Sunday April 4, 2021 and is geared towards empowering rural women through Village Saving.

During the Lunched, Hon. Attoh-Wreh,  represented by her Husband Hon. Prince Anything Wreh make available LD $50,000.00 as part of the first instalments of LD$150,000.00 noting that others targeted groups will received in sequence.

Mr. Wreh said the Village Saving Empowerment is as a result of a survey conducted by the Movement of Simple Change to help mitigate the end means of people across district #3.

He said the program will also work in line with the life skills training program in which people will be train in BAKING PASTRY, SAOP MAKING, among others.

Hon. Wreh added that the office of his wife have finally resolved to transform the individual Empowerment program through the Village Saving Empowerment.

He laments that they decided to use the method to Foster unity among people and also allowed people to take full responsibility of their own welfare, adding that the project will allowed them to decide what to do with the money they will received through the lawmaker office.
