LIBERIA: Lawrence G. Cooper Foundation Launches One Hundred Percent Tuition Free Mobile Scales Institution

For the first time in the history of Margibi County, the Lawrence G. Cooper Foundation has launched a hundred percent tuition free Mobile Scales Training Institution for more than three hundred youth and adults residing in the Garzon Reserve District, Division 16- Firestone, Lower Margibi County.

The Director of the foundation’s training and scholarship programs, Jimmy Frank, speaking with Our correspondent at the program on Saturday, said the scales training initiative is part of their CEO, Lawrence Cooper, now residing in the USA, way of giving to his people back home.

He said in three months’ time, students of the Lawrence Cooper Mobile Scales Training Initiative will be self- sustainable, as they will all receive recognized certificates in Driving, Interior Decoration, Catering, and Hair Dressing amongst others.

For his part, Margibi’s District 2 Representative, Ivar K. Jones, making a brief remark at the program, encouraged the students to make use of the free training opportunity provided them by the Lawrence G. Cooper Foundation.

He said education and discipline are the best gifts any parent or individual can give to a person in need of assistance.
