LIBERIA: Margibi County Records 35 Coronavirus cases

Margibi County Health Team has disclosed that the County has recorded a total of 25 active cases, 298 contacts with one death.

Speaking recently, the County Health Officer Dr. Myers Pajibo said as of June 8, 2021 to June 24, 2021 Margibi has recorded at least 35 Coronavirus cases

Dr. Pajibo stressed that, Cumulatively 133 cases and 356 contacts, 9 cases and 56 contacts have been completed in 14 days.

He told Journalists that Margibi has recorded about 25 active cases, 298 contacts and one death.

The Margibi County Health Officer however used the medium to urge residents of the County to obey the preventive measures against the spare of the Coronavirus Pandemic in Liberia.

According to Dr. Myers Pajibo, the fight against COVID-19 can only be successful through the collective efforts of people in the Country.

Dr. Pajibo emphasized the need for everyone to join the fight by observing all health protocols mentioned by health authorities against COVID-19.

He reemphasize the washing of hands and wearing of nose masks, social distancing and avoiding of public gathering, reporting of suspected cases to health authorities among others.
