Addressing a mayor press conference at the Capitol Building on Wednesday, July 4, 2019, Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa who served as for Chairman of the Special Presidential Taskforce that prosecuted those indicted by the Global Witness in the Stable Mining Bribery case said his status as Chairman of that taskforce performed professionally which brought to book those who were involved in the bribery.
Recently Cllr. Varney Sharman during his appearance at the Criminal Court ‘C’ at the Temple of Justice alleged that he (Sherman) was Wrongfully and illegally indicted’ by the Fonati Koffa led Taskforce, but addressing the medial Cllr. Koffa who is also a Representative of Grand Kru County District # 2 released his anger:
