LIBERIA CDC Delegation Arrives In Grand Kru County In Continuation Of Its Nationwide Tour

CDC Chairman, Mulbah Morlu addressing partisans in Barclayville

In continuation of its nationwide acquaintance tour, a delegation of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) headed by its Chairman, Mulbah Morlu  has arrived in in the southeastern County of Grand Kru on July 20, 2020 with a thunderous welcome by a huge crowd including partisans of the CDC, market women, motorcyclists citizens of the county including the administration of the county.

The arrival ceremony in the County’s Capital, Barclayville was colorful with a special program being held in honor of the visiting party’s officials at the Grand Kru County Superintendent Compound, where the Chairman of the CDC gave detail of his tour around the country, and further thanked the citizens for given him and his delegation a worm welcome.

While in the County, the CDC Chairman used the occasion to dedicate the headquarters of the CDC local office, and also made several presentations aimed at celebrating Liberia’s 173rd Independence Day in the county.

Materials presented to the CDC partisans in the county include; sets of jersey with footballs, president Weah’s cup, one hundred bags of 25kg of rice for the independence celebration in the county.

Chairman Morlu also used the occasion to call on county authority to organize  Olympic games in the county, and award prices to the winners from the game, and further gave cash to the county to award prices to the winners of the games that will be organized by the County.

Chairman Morlue said his visit to Grand Kru County including other counties in southeast of Liberia was to say thank you to the people of Grand Kru county for electing their son George Weah as President of the republic of Liberia, narrating yhat, electing George Weah as President in the Country was a wrong thing, and further described President Weah a ‘God giving President’.

Chairman Morlu bragged of the level of development been undertaken by the CDC-led government including some infrastructural development such as housing units, schools, market buildings, roads etc, which he noted that no President has ever done within a two of years’ time in the country.

Addressing partisans and well-wishers, Chairman Morlu said, “I am here as a massager sent by the Liberian President George Weah, to say thank you, and we wholeheartedly appreciate you all who voted President Weah as President for the country, including Senator Peter Coleman and the Grand Kru County electoral district #2 Representative Cllr. Fonati Koffa. I have no regret for serving as Chairman of CDC,” the CDC Chairman noted.

Morlue said, CDCIANS should support a successful candidate in the primary as for the pending December 8 midterm Senatorial election, and further called on all CDCians to vote a candidate who will not undermine the peace and good image of the Country.
