Liberians in the United States of America will on Thursday, September 26, 2019 gather in New York Marriott Marquis to grace the Liberia Business and investment Forum alongside the events of the 74th United National General Assembly (UNGA).

Organized by the Liberian embassy in the United States, the Liberia Business and Investment Forum (LBIF), the Government of Liberia has identified investment in infrastructure and agriculture as the most important priorities that can potentially unlock opportunities for investment across all sectors of the economy.
This renewed commitment to promote investment in agriculture and infrastructure is key focus of President Weah’s economic recovery and growth drive and it is very critical to improving Liberia’s image abroad thereby attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in priority sectors.
H.E. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia will be the special guest of honour. Other invited guests including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Development Planning, Commerce, Agriculture, Public Works, and Chairman of the National Investment Commission & many more, will also be in attendance.
