Former Bong County Superintended Selena Polison Mappy has expressed serious frustration over the administration of Superintendent Esther Yamah Walker for continuously discrediting her achievements in the County

Former Superintendent Mappy said Superintendent Walker has on several occasions discredited her and maintained that she can no longer remain silent.

The former Bong County Superintendent made specific reference to the current plan to bring electricity to Gbarnga and the placement of chip ceiling on major streets in Gbarnga.

Madam Mappy has reminded Superintendent Esther Walker that these projects including the Kpatawee hydro construction were planned and started during her administration as Superintendent of the County.

She told this paper that she has no problem with current superintendent Esther N. Walker and said she wants her administration to succeed for the betterment of the county.

Former superintendent Mappy believes what superintendent Esther Walker has started will not do any good for the county and admonished her to stop.  She maintained that her administration and the 53rd Legislative Caucus worked closely to bring many development projects in the county.

Madam Mappy  said when she took over there were lot of debts the county owed but did not complain and ensure they were all settled.

She wants Superintendent Esther Walker to stop complaining and work and stop taking glory of projects she saw as well as give credit to her administration for the achievements.

When contacted by our Bong County Correspondent, Superintendent Esther Walker stated that Madam Mappy’s statement is a gossip adding that she can’t respond to such.

According to the Bong County Superintendent, she is currently thinking on how to improve the living condition of the citizens and not to speak on unnecessary things.

The problem between the Bong County former and current Superintendents is seems to have started during the October 10th 2017 campaign.

Superintendent Mappy who comes from the ex –ruling Unity Party campaigned against Superintendent Walker governing Coalition for Democratic Change CDC.

It can be recalled that during the induction of superintended Walker, she (Sup. Walker) allegedly refused to invite the former Bong County Superintendent a situation that led to the former Superintended to angrily expressed her feelings when she whet at the program without invitation.
