‘I will Provide Documentary Evidence for the Death of Tecumsay Roberts’, Senator Prince Johnson Declares

Preaching during his regular Sunday service at his Christ Delivering Church in Paynesville, the suburb of Monrovia, Senator Prince Y. Johnson disclosed that he is prepared to provide what he called documentary evidence as to who killed one of Liberia’s popular musicians, Tecumsay Roberts during the Liberian civil war.
During the early days of the Liberian civil war in the 1990s, several prominent individuals including the Liberian musician, Tecumsay Roberts were allegedly killed in cold blood by Prince Yormie Johnson who headed the defunct Independent National Patriotic Front of Liberia (INPFL) when he broke away from Charles Taylor’s National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL).

But the former rebel leader now a politician and an evangelist addressing his congregation openly lashed out at the former Chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), Jerome Verdier who he said is opting for him to be prosecuted for war crimes he (Johnson) committed during the Liberian civil war, noting that he prefers a UN backed Tribunal and not a war crimes court.
“I am preaching to expose all of those who are involved in the Liberian civil war, and who also committed heinous crimes against the people Liberia, I am calling for the establishment of a UN backed Tribunal and not a War Crimes Court,” Evangelist Johnson preaching to his congregation bragged.
Evangelist Johnson whose preaching always on his activities during the Liberian civil war, and accusing others of their deals in the society, told his congregation that he is prepare to opens up on those who are generally linked to the Liberian civil war, adding, “All of those who are accusing me of being a warlord, and a killer will be exposed soon by me,” he said.
