NEW YORK – A Bronx man who recently traveled to Montana is under arrest after allegedly telling an FBI informant he was going to carry out terror attacks.
Federal authorities say 21-year-old Fabjan Alameti was arrested at a gun range in Montana on Thursday.
In January, Alameti allegedly told an FBI informant he wanted to fight with ISIS and attack government buildings, gay clubs and Jewish temples in the U.S.
Alameti also allegedly claimed he traveled to Montana from New York because it was easier to buy guns there.
Following the mosque shootings in New Zealand last month, He allegedly told the informant he was going to exact revenge.
Alameti is charged with making false statements involving international and domestic terrorism.
