Our reporter who visited the scene saw dozens of women, children and the older man using canoes to dangerously fetch the spilled fuel oil floating over the river with gallons, while others who could not take hold of canoes also jumped in the water to collect the fuil oil over the water.
Up to presence, there has been no information as to what led to the spill, which according to some eyewitnesses started early this morning, but some who spoke to our reporter described this latest development as a mysterious discovery of oil in Monrova.
Effort to contact the Environmental Agency (EPA) as to the cause of this spilled fuel proved unsuccessful.
